Plot[]

Link is chilling in the Rec Room, eating chips and watching TV. Suddenly, B.O.B, comes down through the vent, yelling and laughing in excitement. Link asks B.O.B. what's going on. B.O.B. tells him he saw something and tells Link to come and look. Link follows B.O.B. and they take the elevator to a hangar that Link didn't know they had. In front of them is a big object covered underneath a large tarp. Link asks what is under the tarp. The question literally blows B.O.B.'s mind, which is odd since he doesn't have one. B.O.B., realizing there is something under the tarp, says that is more amazing. Link and B.O.B. pull the tarp off and reveal a really old UFO, blowing B.O.B.'s mind once again. B.O.B. and Link are amazed by this. Link deduces that the UFO has been in this hangar for 36 years. B.O.B. asks Link if the UFO still works, which Link replies that there's one way to find out. After B.O.B. abruptly asks the UFO if it still works, Link clarifies that they are gonna fix it, which B.O.B. tells to the UFO.

Link and B.O.B. soon get to work on fixing the spacecraft. They replace the parts with new ones, fix the engine, add new parts and spray paint it in a 1960s-styled design.

With the UFO finally fixed and looking like an intergalactic hot rod, Link and B.O.B. take it outside and name it "The UFOh-Yeah", which B.O.B. totally gets.

Unbeknownst to them, Coverton sneaks outside with a box of Fudgie Budgie Bars, which he just learned about and gets to tasting them in a flirtatious manner. He sees Link and B.O.B.'s UFO. Assuming that The Grand Coverlord has begun the invasion prematurely to Coverton's final preperations, Coverton hastily calls him and informs him that he is not ready and that he's just learned about Fudgie Budgie Bars. He then hears Link and B.O.B. and spies on them, relieved that Coverlord is not invading yet. Link and B.O.B., impressed with their new ride and their lack of self-discipline. Link asks B.O.B. what they should do with the UFO first, and B.O.B. suggests that they should use it to pretend to be alien invaders. Link agrees with the idea and imitates an alien voice. After Link and B.O.B. leave to get alien costumes, Coverton comes out from his hiding spot, insulted and angered by their mockery towards aliens. He decides to teach them a lesson so that they will know how much of a sense of humor his kind can have.

Link and B.O.B. finish packing the pieces for their costumes and prepare to heard back to the UFO, but are caught by Susan, who suspiciously asks them what they are doing with the costumes. Link and B.O.B. tell her that they are donating the costumes to a hospital for kids with clown allergies. Susan doesn't buy it at first, but after Link berates her for suggesting that kids shouldn't have fun and that they should be locked away, never to see the outside world again, all because they have clown allergies, Susan buys it and sends them off. As the door closes, Link and B.O.B. do guitar riffs again, proud that their fib worked.

Back at the UFO, Coverton, ready to punish Link and B.O.B. for their disrespect towards aliens, sneaks onto the ship and disables the communications microphone. And when Link and B.O.B. get onto the ship with their costumes, Coverton welds the exit hatch shut before leaving, laughing sinsterly at his scheme. Link and B.O.B. put in alien invasion rock mix and start up the UFO and fly off to cause some mischief...after accidentally reversing into the base.

They first arrive at the Diner and startle the patrons. On the ship, B.O.B. and Link press random buttons and accidentally cut the gas station sign in half with a laser. Link is surprised by the UFO having actual laser and suggests labeling it. B.O.B. slams a rock down on the button, firing a sudden laser blast at the Diner and scaring the Patrons even further. This causes Link and B.O.B. to flee. At Chickie D, an employee hands a driver his bucket of chicken, but Link and B.O.B. arrive and steal the bucket with a tractor beam. Link fakes an evil laugh at his deed. The driver flees in terror and the employee swears vengeance on all aliens as the duo files away.

Back at the base, Teams Monster and Alien are in the War Room with General Monger. Apparently, Link and B.O.B.'s pretend alien invasion have caused a panic and the base is now getting calls of concern from all over the area. Monger demands communication with the UFO so that he could see if they are hostile. The Base Worker communicates with the UFO and asks them if they are hostile. On the ship, Link and B.O.B. get the call and are flying back to the base, disappointed that they have to cut their playtime short. Link responds and attempts to tell the Base that what happened, but Coverton's sabotagery on their communications systems is making Link's voice sound garbled and distorted on the Base's end, much to Monger's confusion. Doctor Cockroach and Sqweep are unable to translate their garbled voices. However, Coverton comes in and listens in. He feigns a horrified expression and tells everyone that the garbled voice is the language of a barely-known but extremely warlike race known as the Brocktoon. Sqweep says that she's heard of billions of alien races, but she's never heard of the Brocktoon, which Coverton predicted and said he happens to know very well. Coverton tells him of the UFO's colorful and weird design with a guitar-playing wizard and dancing leprechauns and, which the Base Worker adds, a bear on a skateboard painted on the side of their ship. Coverton pretends to yell in horror and says he's unaware of their intentions, but will translate for them anyway. Link and B.O.B., still unaware of the communications problems, continues telling them about what they were doing, but Coverton says that the "Brocktoon" are gonna burn their cities and devour their pets, much to Vornicarn's shock. Convinced the ship is hostile, Monger orders his troops to bring down the UFO with everything they've got. Teams Monster and Alien leave the War Room, and Coverton chuckles sinisterly at his deception, knowing that Link and B.O.B. will be in serious trouble the minute they reach Area Fifty-Something airspace.

On the ship, Link talks on the radio about his life choices and that there was probably something missing in his life and he tries to fill it with hijinks and mayhem. B.O.B. asks Link if missiles are the bad ones. Link sees the missiles and steers the UFO out of their range of fire. Tanks begin firing on the ship and Link and B.O.B. dodge their gunfire. Teams Monster and Alien join the fight. In the ship, Link panics about what is happening. Link tells B.O.B. to put the microphone on external loudspeaker and tries to inform the firing soldiers that it's really them, but the loudspeaker doesn't work, as their garbled voices are what are coming out of the loudspeaker. Coverton tells Monger that they are offending his mother and couldn't bring himself to repeat such profanity. Monger orders his men to unleash all their wrath on the ship for the sake of his mother. They continue shooting at the ship and Link and B.O.B. continue frantically dodging their gunfire. Link hears the garbled speech, and realizes what is wrong: the microphone is busted and their friends are shooting at them because they think Link and B.O.B. are real aliens. B.O.B. wonders why they didn't notice their absence. Doctor Cockroach asks where Link and B.O.B. are and Susan tells him of their kids with clown allergies situation, which he greatly approves of.

With the microphone busted and them unable to land without getting blown space high, Link and B.O.B. attempt to figure out a way to show the attacking soldiers that it's actually them. Link sends B.O.B. to the window and they reduce altitude and fly past the soldiers. However, it didn't work and the soldiers fled in terror. Link and B.O.B. ditch the costumes and try to bail, but because Coverton sealed the exit hatch shut, they can't open it or push it loose either. B.O.B. suggests asking the pilot, but Link reminds him that he's flying the ship, which he also forgot because the ship quickly descends at super speed, but Link pulls up accidentally smashes through the attacking tanks, much to Monger's shock. At Coverton's pleading, Monger continues to go full military on the Ship. Link sees Monger and decides to abduct him so that he and B.O.B. can tell him everything, though B.O.B. though Link meant literally everything since he does not get how babies being made works.

Link and B.O.B. fly up behind Monger and hover above the jeep as they open up the tractor beam, preparing to abduct him. Susan pushes him out of the way and Coverton is abducted instead, telling everyone to stop firing. Link and B.O.B. are disappointed that they didn't get Monger. Sqweep orders everyone to hold their fire as they now have Coverton, but Sta'abi tells them not to give up and to keep raising heck on the spacecraft no matter what, Everyone unleashes everything they've got on the ship. They continue evading the gunfire, but Coverton, knowing that they can't keep this up any longer, orders them to use the lasers. B.O.B. objects to it, but Link, seeing that they are out of options, agrees with Coverton and fires the laser into the rock wall. Finally having enough, Monger prepares to unleash simultaneous fire on the ship, as Link and B.O.B. prepare to do the same, but Susan stops them and points at the wall. On the wall is a laser-carved picture of Link and B.O.B. saying "PLEASE STOP SHOOTING US!". Seeing the message and realizing what's happened, Monger orders his troops to stand down, though he would've had them shot down any way just for such a dirty joke.

Link and B.O.B. land the UFO and Susan pulls the exit hatch off. Link and B.O.B. step out and, seeing that they are not at all happy with their tricks, tell everyone that all children are safe from clown allergies, which B.O.B. confirms that they totally made up, guaranteeing that they are both in deep trouble. Monger angrily threatens them for their mischief with making them clean so many latrines, they will think that they got married and had toilet babies. Link is deeply disturbed by this threat. Coverton agrees, warning them to never try doing something like this again and leave playing alien to him, THE alien. The Chickie D worker from earlier angrily walks up to Coverton and kicks him in the leg, much to his shock.
