Butterflyosaurus is a giant butterfly monster. The former Insectosaurus, she's the best friend of The Missing Link. The byproduct of an experiment with radiation and insects, she was captured in the 60s and spend nearly 50 years in secret captivity. During the 1st alien invasion, she took out an alien probe the same size as her and by default, the golden gate bridge.
Biography[]
Insectosaurus was blasted by an electric ball fired from Gallaxhar's Ship making her fall down and pass out, after her metamorphosis she is transformed into a butterfly and saved the monsters from Gallaxhar's ship before self-destruction. Now as "Butterflyosaurus" she serves as the monsters' mode of transportation. Later on, she went out for Halloween as Elvis and took out the mutant pumpkin Wicked Jack.
Trivia[]
- She dressed up as Elvis in Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space.
- She is the only featured team monster character to not appear in Monsters vs Aliens.
